...and I stole some moments from my show and thought to post this one! I am uploading a crap load pf pictures on the blog and shall do so today too...but I just forgot to share something with you.
I had to catch a flight to London to attend one my best friends' (read my longest crush in school) wedding this year in May but I was busy giving my beloved listeners a whopper of one lakh four thousand rupees. So I didn't get any chutti. I also made my plans of knocking my best friend's door in Canada in April but I ended up knocking my listeners' doors when I ushered your favorite Delhi Daredevils in your humble abodes during IPL!
So one fine day as I was getting exasperated in the studios and talking about Nepal and its bounties that it occured to me- "if not London and Canada, then maybe Kathmandua?" I asked my boss for leave and as expected, was denied. I created the drama then. I asked my listeners to back me up and get me a chutti. My rockstar listeners came for my rescue. A host of crazy bahanas, countless suggestions and tricks to take chutti and much more. Some of them (thanks Kavita ji) even impersonated as my mom and talked to my boss asking for leave, full parent-teacher meeting style! And lo! It worked. My boss gave in. Though it wasn't a chutti and I worked my arse off in Nepal (from 6 am to 1 am) but the up side was the royal treatment I got, the best VIP suites in 5 star hotels, the best cuisines and a chauffer driven car at my beck and call.
So before I knew I was in the enchanting land of the Himalyas! Breathtakingly beautiful man!! Once again let me don the Raju guide hat-
